Daily Operations Guide
A practical, day-to-day guide for managing your affiliate business. Learn the daily habits of top-performing affiliates, from checking stats and sharing links to following up with leads and requesting payouts.
Open your affiliate dashboard first thing in the morning. Look at the four stat cards: Total Earnings, This Month Earnings, Pending Payout, and Commission Rate. These give you an instant snapshot of where you stand financially.
Check the Recent Activity feed for any new commissions, conversions, or payout updates that happened overnight. If you see new conversions, note which channel they likely came from so you can double down on what's working.
Review your conversion rate in the Performance Metrics section. If you notice a sudden drop, it might indicate an issue with your promotional content or a change in audience quality. If it's trending up, identify what you changed recently.
Glance at the Milestone Tracker to see how close you are to the next commission tier. If you're within 2-3 sales of the next tier, consider running an extra promotional push today to close the gap.
Note your This Month Sales count. This determines your commission tier for next month, so if you're at 9 sales, pushing for one more gets you to the 15% tier and significantly increases your per-sale earnings.
Daily Tip
Set a daily alarm or calendar reminder to check your dashboard at a consistent time. Many successful affiliates check twice a day — morning and evening — to catch any new activity.
Post at least once on your primary social platform. On LinkedIn, share a business-oriented post about GST compliance or business management. On Twitter/X, post a short tip with your referral link and relevant hashtags like #GSTSoftware or #SmallBusinessIndia.
Share your referral link in 1-2 relevant WhatsApp groups where business owners and traders are active. Write a brief, helpful message about a specific feature of Vikray Aquila rather than just sharing the link. Context and relevance drive clicks.
Engage with 5-10 posts in relevant business and startup communities. Leave thoughtful comments on LinkedIn posts about accounting, GST, or small business management. This builds your reputation and makes your own promotional posts more credible.
If you have a blog or website, publish or update one piece of content. Even a short product review or comparison post can generate organic traffic for months. Include your referral link naturally within the content, ideally in the first paragraph and again near the end.
Respond to any direct messages or comments about Vikray Aquila from your network. People who ask questions are high-intent prospects — a helpful, detailed response can be the difference between a click and a conversion.
Daily Tip
Use a content calendar to plan your social media posts for the week. Batch-create your content on Sunday evenings so you can simply post each day without spending time thinking about what to say.
Check the Referrals page daily for new 'Pending' referrals. These are people who clicked your link and signed up but haven't purchased yet. They've shown clear interest but may need a nudge to complete the purchase.
If you know who the referral is (e.g., they messaged you asking about the product), send them a personal follow-up message 2-3 days after their initial interest. Ask if they had any questions or if they'd like a demo.
Share a specific feature or benefit that addresses a common objection. For example, mention that Vikray Aquila works completely offline, which is a key differentiator that many business owners appreciate. Or highlight the one-time payment model vs. monthly subscriptions.
Offer to help with the setup process. Many prospects hesitate because they're worried about the technical complexity of switching accounting software. Reassure them that Vikray Aquila is designed to be user-friendly, and that you can guide them through the basics.
Don't be afraid to follow up 2-3 times over a period of 2 weeks, but space out your messages. Each follow-up should provide new value — a tip, a feature highlight, or a limited-time offer — rather than just asking 'did you buy yet?'
Daily Tip
Create a simple follow-up template you can personalize for each lead. Having a starting point saves time while still allowing you to add a personal touch that increases response rates.
Review your conversion rate weekly. Calculate it yourself if needed: (Converted Referrals / Total Referrals) × 100. A rate above 3% is good, above 5% is excellent. If you're below 2%, focus on improving your promotional content quality.
Identify your top-performing channels by tracking which platforms drive the most conversions. You can do this by using UTM parameters or separate tracking links for different platforms, then comparing results in your dashboard.
Analyze which types of content generate the most conversions. Is it detailed blog posts, quick social media updates, WhatsApp messages, or email campaigns? Double down on what works and reduce time spent on what doesn't.
Monitor your average order value by looking at individual commission amounts. Higher-value plans (Enterprise vs. Professional) mean higher commissions. Consider targeting audiences who are more likely to purchase premium plans.
At the end of each month, review your total conversions and check which commission tier you've achieved. Use this data to set realistic goals for the following month and plan your promotional activities accordingly.
Daily Tip
Keep a simple spreadsheet tracking your daily activities (posts, messages, content published) alongside your conversion data. Over time, you'll see clear correlations between specific activities and conversion spikes.
Navigate to the Commissions page to see your total pending commissions. The 'Request Payout' button becomes visible when your pending balance reaches the minimum threshold of ₹1,000. You can request a payout at any time after reaching this threshold.
Before requesting, verify your payment details on the Payouts page. Check that your bank account number, IFSC code, and bank name are correct. Incorrect details are the most common cause of payment failures and delays.
Click 'Request Payout' and confirm the amount. A new payout entry will appear on the Payouts page with 'Pending' status. Our finance team typically processes payout requests within 1-2 business days.
Once processed, the payout status changes to 'Processing' and a transaction reference number is assigned. You can use this reference to track the payment with your bank if needed. Bank transfers (NEFT/IMPS) arrive within 3-5 business days.
After receiving payment, verify the amount matches what was shown in your dashboard. If there's any discrepancy, contact affiliate support immediately with your payout ID and transaction reference. We'll investigate and resolve any issues promptly.
Daily Tip
Request payouts at the end of the month to batch your commissions together. This reduces the number of transactions and makes your accounting simpler. However, if you need funds urgently, you can request at any time once the threshold is met.
